Crismonita Dwi Putri (born April 23, 1998 in Lumajang ) is an Indonesian cyclist who primarily competes in short-term races on the track .

Athletic career

In elementary school, Crismonita Dwi Putri started cycling and competed in BMX races. At first she was urged to train by her father, but then developed an interest and ambition in cycling.

Dwi Putri has been racing on the track since 2017. In 2018 she was ninth in the sprint at the Asian Championships . In the same year she finished seventh in Sprint and Keirin at the Asian Games and fifth in the team sprint with Elga Kharisma Novanda . At the 2019 Asian Championships she was fourth in the team sprint, seventh in both sprint and keirin; she won the bronze medal in the 500 meter time trial . In the same discipline she became Indonesian champion in 2019. Also in 2019 Dwi Putri took part in a three-month course at the World Cycling Center of the International Cycling Union UCI in Switzerland Aigle part. At the South East Asian GP she won Sprint and Keirin.

In the 2019/20 season, Crismonita Dwi Putri again took top places in the sprint, keirin, time trial and team sprint disciplines at the Asian track championships (which were held in October due to the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo ). As a result, she started in the 2019/20 Track Cycling World Cup to qualify for the Tokyo Games. Her best finish was fourth in the Keirin at the Cambridge run ; in the overall standings she finished twelfth. She missed a better placement as she caused a fall at the last run of the World Cup in Milton and was disqualified.
