Cristian Machado

Cristian Machado (* 1974 in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil ) is a Brazilian singer and was with the band Ill Niño until March 2020 . He was also active for Headclamp and La Familia and had several guest appearances on albums such as Soulflys 3 and 40 Below Summers The Mourning After .

Cristian was born the son of a Brazilian musician, but soon moved to Venezuela with his mother . In 1986 they moved to New Jersey , where he spent the rest of his youth. He never really knew his father during his youth. His mother told him his stepfather was his real father. He only found out who his real father was when he called him and told him he was his father. Cristian didn't want to see him, but nowadays he's in contact with him by phone and email.

Trivia

He uses the microphone of Dave Williams , the former singer of Drowning Pool . They were good friends and both bands became friends during the Jägermeister tour. After Williams died, his microphone was given to him in honor by the band and Dave's family.
