Dave Williams (singer)

David Wayne "Dave" Williams , also called Stage , (born February 29, 1972 in Dallas , † August 14, 2002 in Manassas ) was an American rock singer. Until his death he was the singer of the nu-metal band Drowning Pool .

Dave Willams was raised by Charles Edward and Jo-Ann Williams. In 1999 he joined the band Drowning Pool, in 2001 the band released the album Sinner .

On August 14, 2002, at the age of 30, he was found dead on the tour bus. He had died of undiscovered heart failure. In his honor, a DVD entitled Sinema was released in Plano, Texas on August 18, 2002 , which shows the chronicle of his life.
