Cristian Paz (born January 28, 1988 or October 9, 1988 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

Midfielder Paz has been a member of the first division squad of Nacional Montevideo since 2006 and played two games (no goal) in the Primera División in the 2005/06 season . For Apertura 2007 he moved on loan to Club Atlético Cerro and was used there in that half series once (no goal) in the top Uruguayan league. In 2008 he was back in the ranks of Nacionals. From 2009 to mid-2011 he played for Plaza Colonia . Subsequently, he was listed as a player for the Argentine club El Linqueño until 2012 .

National team

Paz was a member of Uruguay 's U-17 team coached by Gustavo Ferrín . With this he took part in the U-17 South American Championship in Venezuela in 2005 and became vice South American champion. At the U-17 World Cup in 2005 he was also part of the Uruguayan squad. In the course of the World Cup tournament he was used three times (no goal). He was later called up to the Uruguayan U-20 national team and was part of the squad at the U-20 South American Championship in 2007 .
