Cristian Sebastián Cejas (born April 21, 1975 in Gualeguay , Entre Ríos ) is a former Argentine football goalkeeper .

Sebastián Cejas stood in the goal of the Newell's Old Boys for the first time at the young age of 15 . He matured very quickly to become a regular goalkeeper and had played a total of 170 games in which he - as a goalkeeper - scored six goals when he moved to the then Serie B club AC Siena for the 2001/02 season. After a season, the transfer to league rivals Ascoli Calcio took place . Here he belonged to the regular formation and again he managed to score a goal. At the end of the season, Cejas moved to the traditional Italian club AC Florence . Here he was again number 1 in goal and at the end of the season the Florentines were able to celebrate their promotion. For the 2004/05 season, AC Fiorentina brought Sébastien Frey from AC Parma , who was the new number 1 in the box and Cejas had to be content with a reserve role from then on. Therefore, he was transferred to FC Empoli during the winter break of the 2005/06 season .

In the summer of 2006 he moved to Chile to CSD Colo-Colo , with the club he won the Chilean championship twice. He then played for the Argentine club Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata and later moved to AC Pisa after being without a club . In 2010 he ended his career with the Chacarita Juniors .
