Crupina crupinastrum , the real slip Same , is a plant from the genus of the slip seeds ( Crupina ) and the family of Compositae ( Asteraceae ).

Habitus

Crupina crupinastrum is an annual stem therophyte that reaches heights of 20 to 80 centimeters. The stem is only leafed in the lower third or the lower half. The basal leaves are often broadly pinnate and hairy on the upper side. The stem leaves are lobed, the lobes are 1.5–3 millimeters wide and serrated to pinnate.

The heads are 9 to 15 flowered and arranged in an umbrella cluster. The shell measures 15 to 20 × 5 to 10 millimeters. The flowers are red or purple. The cardboard hairs are golden brown.

The flowering period extends from March to July.

The number of chromosomes is 2n = 28.

Occurrence

Crupina crupinastrum occurs in the entire Mediterranean area to the Middle East. The species grows in rocky phrygana , open coniferous forests and dry ruderal spots at altitudes from 0 to 1150 meters.
