Cuccaro Monferrato ( Piedmontese Cucri , in the local dialect Chicri ) is a fraction of the Italian municipality of Lu e Cuccaro Monferrato in the province of Alessandria (AL), Piedmont region .

On February 1, 2019, the municipality of Cuccaro Monferrato merged with Lu to form the new municipality of Lu e Cuccaro Monferrato. It last had 323 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2017) on an area of ​​5.35 km². The neighboring communities were Camagna Monferrato , Fubine , Lu , Quargnento and Vignale Monferrato .

Culinary specialties
