Curran Walters

Curran Walters (born January 16, 1998 in Oak Park , California ) is an American actor and former model . He gained fame primarily through the impersonation of the cartoon character Jason Todd from the series Titans .

life and career

Curran Walters was born in Oak Park, California, where he grew up with a younger sister. He attended the local high school. During his childhood he already gained experience in the field of modeling, among others for the brands Tilly's, Lee and Brothers. He gained his first acting experience through appearances in commercials, for example for Samsung and the simulation video game NBA 2K15 .

He took his first acting role in front of the camera in 2014 in the role of Chad from the TV movie Growing Up and Down . After a guest appearance in New Girl , he appeared again in 2016 in the role of young Jackson in the series Game of Silence . He also made his feature film debut in 2016 with the role of Matt in the drama comedy Women of the Century . From 2016 to 2017 he appeared as Mac in the series Too Close to Home . Further appearances followed in Speechless , Alexa & Katie and in the sitcom Fam . In 2018 Walters was cast as Jason Todd alias Robin in a supporting role in the first season of the series Titans , which was expanded to a leading role with the beginning of the second season. His portrayal meant for the first time an embodiment of the comic book character in a real film production. He also appeared in the role in an episode of Supergirl in 2019 .
