The Cygnet River is a river in the east of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
River course
The river has its source in the Cygnet River Forest Reserve , approximately 81 km southeast of Launceston . Shortly after its source, it falls over the Meetus Falls . From there, the Cygnet River first flows east to the eastern border of the state reserve and then turns its course to the southeast. Approx. 3 km south of Cranbrook it flows into the Swan River .
