The Black Lake below the Meeraugspitze ( pl. Czarny Staw pod Rysami , German also: Meerauge) in Poland is a glacial lake in the Fischseetal ( pl. Dolina Rybiego Potoku ) in the High Tatras . It is located in the municipality of Bukowina Tatrzańska below the Żabia Lalka and can be reached via the trail from Meerauge . Here is also the ascent to the Meeraugspitze , the highest mountain in Poland . The water of the lake flows over the Schwarzseebach ( Czarnostawiański Potok ) into the Meerauge .
