Location and surroundings
Below the summit of the mountain lake is Czarny Staw pod Rysami in the valley Fish Lake Valley .
The neighboring peaks are the frog monk ( Żabi Mnich ), which is separated from it by the Puppenscharte mountain pass ( Przełączka pod Żabią Lalką ).
etymology
The name Żabia Lalka can be translated as a frog doll . The name comes from the nearby frog lakes.
tourism
The Żabia Lalka is not on any marked hiking trail. However, it is accessible to climbers. The shelters Schronisko PTTK nad Morskim Okiem and Schronisko PTTK w Dolinie Roztoki are suitable starting points for an ascent .
