The frog monk ( Polish Żabi Mnich , Slovak Žabí Mních , Hungarian Békás-Barát ) is a mountain in the High Tatras with an altitude of 2259 m npm on the Polish - Slovak border.
Location and surroundings
Below the summit are the valleys of the Fish Lake Valley ( Dolina Rybiego Potoku ) in the west (Poland) and the Bialkatal ( Bielovodská dolina ) in the east (Slovakia).
Neighboring peaks are the small frog tip ( Żabi Szczyt Nižní ) controlled by him through the frog Charter ( Białczańska Przełęcz is separated), and the Big frog tip ( Żabi Szczyt Wyżni ) controlled by him through the mountain pass Upper Frog Charter ( Białczańska Przełęcz Wyżnia ) is disconnected.

tourism
The frog monk is not on a marked trail. However, it is accessible to climbers with a permit from the administration of one of the national parks . The Schronisko PTTK nad Morskim Okiem and Schronisko PTTK w Dolinie Roztoki huts are suitable starting points for an ascent .
