The Great Polish Lake ( pl. Wielki Staw Polski ) in Poland is a glacial lake in the Valley of the Five Polish Lakes ( pl. Dolina Pięciu Stawów Polskich ) in the High Tatras . It is located in the Bukowina Tatrzańska commune and can be reached via several hiking trails. Near the lake there is the PTTK mountain hut in the Valley of the Five Polish Lakes and the highest waterfall in Poland, the Siklawa . It lies at the outflow of Lake Roztoka . Above the eastern shore of the lake there are four small ponds, the Szpiglasowe Stawki .
