The four Szpiglasowe Ponds ( pl. Szpiglasowe Stawki ) in Poland are small glacial lakes in the Valley of the Five Polish Lakes ( pl. Dolina Pięciu Stawów Polskich ) in the High Tatras . They are located in the Bukowina Tatrzańska commune and are not accessible, but they are clearly visible from the hiking trail from the valley to the Szpiglasowa Przełęcz mountain pass . They are located on a hill on the slope of the Miedziane mountain above the eastern shore of the Wielki Staw Polski lake . They feed one of the tributaries of the lake and thus represent one of the sources of the Roztoka mountain stream . Nearby is the PTTK mountain hut in the Valley of the Five Polish Lakes .
