The Dziurawa Czuba is a mountain on the Polish-Slovak border in the High Tatras with 2155 m. above sea level in the Szpiglasowa Grań massif .
Location and surroundings
The state border runs over the main ridge of the Tatra Mountains, on which the Dziurawa Czuba is located. Below the summit are two valleys, the Dolina za Mnichem as a side valley of the Dolina Rybiego Potoku in the north and the Dolina Ciemnosmreczyńska in the south.
From the summit of Szpiglasowa Turniczka in the west, the Dziurawa Czuba is separated by the Niżnie Szpiglasowe Wrótki mountain pass , and from the eastern summit of Głaźna Czuba by the Głaźne Wrótki mountain pass .
etymology
The Polish name Dziurawa Czuba can be translated as Lochriger peak and comes from the many small caves in the mountain, of which the Studnia w Dziurawej Czubie is the largest. A climbing route to the top leads through this cave.
Flora and fauna
Despite its height, the Dziurawa Czuba has a colorful flora and fauna. Numerous plant species occur, especially high alpine flowers and grasses. In addition to insects and mollusks and birds of prey, marmots and chamois also visit the summit.

There is currently no marked hiking trail on the Szpiglasowa Czuba . The ridge trail, which also ran over its summit, has been closed due to numerous accidents.
