Dólmen da Malhada do Cambarinho
The Dólmen da Malhada do Cambarinho is a megalithic complex on the 1075 m high mountain "Serra do Caramulo" in the Penoita Nature Park in Joana Martins, in Vouzela , in the Viseu district in Portugal .
Anta , Dolmen , Mámoa , Orca and Lapa are the common names in Portugal for the approximately 5000 megalithic structures that were built during the Neolithic in the west of the Iberian Peninsula by the successors of the Cardial or Imprint culture .
The approximately 8.0 m long dolmen has 11 preserved bearing stones and a capstone. It is about 1.6 m high. New excavations were carried out about 150 m north of the dolmen.
The Dólmen da Lapa de Meruge and the Anta da Arca are nearby .
