The Döllnitz is a left tributary of the Elbe in Saxony .

It rises in Querbitzsch , a western district of the city of Mügeln, flows through the cities of Mügeln and Oschatz and flows into the Elbe via the port basin of the city of Riesa .
Major tributaries are:
- the Hasenbach,
- the trench,
- the sand stream,
- the Grauschwitzbach and
- the Kemmlitzgrundbach .
The Döllnitzsee dam, the Döllnitzsee pre-dam and the Göttwitzsee are located between river kilometers 35.8 and 38.2.
