action

DC - Da Capo is about a fictional island in modern Japan , Hatsunejima, where the cherry trees are always in full bloom. There are mysterious powers and abilities on the island.

Plot of the first season of the anime

Jun'ichi Asakura lives with his adoptive sister Nemu on the island of Hatsunejima. Jun'ichi can see into other people's dreams and create candy. One day Jun'ichi's cousin and friend Sakura Yoshino returns from America. She looks exactly as she left the island six years ago. A love triangle develops between the two girls and Jun'ichi.

title

Da capo means repeating a piece of music from the beginning. Here it stands for Jun'ichi's second chance to continue his friendships with the girls on the island.

Games

Da Capo originally began as a collection of short stories on the Fandisc Archimedes no Wasuremono ( ア ル キ メ デ ス の わ す れ も の ) related to Circus' play Suika . The Fandisc appeared on December 14, 2001. These short stories already contained the characters Jun'ichi, Kotori, Nemu, Moe, Suginami, as well as the Sakura called Sakurambo. In Da Capo, which will be published later, the protagonist Sayaka from Suika also had several cameo appearances.
