action
The plot is based on true events (see Beltway Sniper Attacks ).
On October 2, 2002, a person was ambushed in Washington, DC . Five more people are killed in the next few days. The motive of the sniper remains unknown.
While the city's population is concerned, the police chief Charles Moose and his people look for the perpetrators. Eventually the perpetrators are found sleeping in a car by a truck driver.
Reviews
- Outnow.ch wrote that the staging was "long-threaded". Charles S. Dutton's portrayal is impressive. The camera work is atmospheric, the "spherical" film music underlines the effect of the images. The critic found the portrayal of the press' role in the case particularly interesting. He criticized that the film was produced before the arrested perpetrator was convicted. The overall conclusion of the critic is that the film is "a film that the world doesn't really need", the tension of which is kept within limits. ( Full review )
