DJ Amato (bourgeois Harald Gander ; born August 19, 1982 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian deejay , music producer and radio host . The Innsbruck native gained fame when he took part in the Hitradio Ö3 DJ competition in 2004 , the largest DJ contest in Austria. He was also a tour DJ for the Austrian chart act Ray Watts . From 2005 to 2019 DJ Amato was employed by the Tyrolean radio station Welle 1 . In addition to his work as a presenter, head of music and production manager, he was also the station's station manager from 2016. In spring 2019, DJ Amato moved to the Magic Castle event location in Seefeld as an event manager . Since 2017 he has also been responsible for the music planning of the LoungeFM radio station .

Career

The Tyrolean started out as a DJ at the age of 15. Amato was able to gain experience in various pubs and discotheques through various agencies and organizers until he was finally accepted as a resident DJ in the Nachtschicht Entertainment Group in Austria in 2004. Here he worked for several years in various locations of the disco group. DJ Amato can be found at many major events in Europe, e.g. B. as operator of his own "Love Mobile" on the Street Parade in Zurich. In recent years he has also worked under other project names such as Electro Calling and Bomb & Amato .
