Ray Roberts Clayton Watts (born December 10, 1970 in Linz ) is an Austrian singer , composer , producer , DJ and publisher . He has already composed over 1000 songs. He is also the owner of the WattsMusic record company.

Childhood and youth

Watts was already on stage with his father at the age of three and founded a band with two schoolmates as a child. At the age of 14 he published his first self-composed and texted single Knock , which was already played on Ö3 .

Career

With his then partner Bianca , he appeared as Bianca and Ray . With love songs like To the End of the World and Solo Conte , they were together guests at popular shows like Wenn die Musipiele or the Grand Prix of Folk Music . After the professional and private separation, his Salzburg career began as a music producer. He worked for and with DJ Ötzi , Die Paldauer , Die Edlseer , Leona Anderson , Kurt Elsasser , Petra Frey and many more. That he produced album Magic Moments by DJ Ötzi won in Austria platinum status.

X ray

He appears in clubs under the artist name X-Ray and has chart positions with his pop songs. With his single Strada della musica , he was nominated nationally in 2001 for the Amadeus in the single of the year category. His second hit Fiesta Amigos was included in the compilation Bravo Hits 33 before it was released . The following singles also all achieved top 20 placements in the sales charts. With the title What U Get Is What UC he was in the top 10 of the Austrian sales charts for two weeks, this title was placed in numerous countries around the world.

Ray Watts

Ray Watts has been appearing as an artist under his real name since 2014. All four singles previously released under this name ( Angels, Queen of Lisbon, Her Soul, Vegas ) reached the top 30 of the Austrian sales charts. With the song “ Vegas feat. GG "was Ray Watts' testimonial for RTL 2 Austria in 2016. At the end of 2018 he released the single "Love is on Fire" together with Ron Glaser & The Ridin´Dudes.
