Dašnica ( Cyrillic : Дашница) is a village in eastern Serbia .
Geography and population
The village is located in the Opština Aleksinac in Nišavski okrug in the east of the country at 321 meters above sea level. Dašnica had 53 inhabitants at the 2011 census, compared to 115 in 2002. According to the last three population statistics, the number of inhabitants continues to fall.
The population of Dašnica is made up of Serbian Orthodox Serbs . The place consists of 45 households.
The village is located southwest of the city of Aleksinac . Nearby is the Jastrebac mountain range , which is also open to tourists.
