Da Crime Posse , also known as DCP, is a hip-hop formation from Kiel , which gained national fame as an integral part of Cartel . The group rapped in both German and Turkish . Even Low German Raplinien were in their repertoire.

After participating in the album Cartel and a series of international, highly successful concerts and television appearances within the Cartel formation, the project appeared solo again from 1996.

Da Crime Posse members at various times included Ali Aksoy, who was responsible for the music in its most successful phase, O. Jess, M. Galvez Perello, Selman and Erhan and Celikbilek Apo aka Inceefe.

In addition to regular hip-hop releases in Turkey, the band also worked on projects outside the genre in a German context, some of which were later published as audio books . For example, the musicians contributed almost a dozen raps to the radio play Kanak Sprak by the writer Feridun Zaimoglu , who also comes from Kiel , which has been produced by ARD and has already been repeated several times on various channels, or accompanied recitations by Ben Becker of the North African travel sketches by Gustave Flaubert ( however, only Selman and Erhan were involved in this), which was processed into an audio image by the film musician Ali N. Askin and also initially broadcast on the radio. They could also be heard in the rap report Germany im Winter - Kanakistan , which was awarded the Civis Prize .
