Dagmar-Ernst Drewes (born December 9, 1937 ) is a former German soccer player who played all 30 round matches as a player in Prussia Munster in the first Bundesliga season , 1963/64 .

career

Amateur, until 1961

At SV Langendreer 04 , located in the Bochum district, the 19-year-old celebrated the championship in the state league and promotion to the Westphalia league in the 1956/57 season . When Langendreer was relegated after four rounds in the association league in the summer of 1961, Dagmar Drewes accepted the offer from Preußen Münster from the Oberliga West for the round 1961/62. When he was appointed to the German national football team for the international match on June 1, 1961 in Oberhausen against Holland, he said goodbye as an amateur national player from Langendreer. Together with goalkeeper Klaus Schonz and center forward Dieter Zettelmaier , he made his debut in the DFB team. It was the only international match in 1961 in the amateur selection.

Oberliga West, 1961 to 1963

The adjustment to the level of the league lasted the entire first half of the season. It was not until December 30, 1961 that Drewes came to his first competitive game for Prussia Munster at the home game against Meidericher SV as a right winger. In total, he played six league games in the 1961/62 round. In the senior league's senior year, 1962/63 , he was part of the regular line- up with 25 appearances and two goals, which also managed to be nominated for the new Bundesliga from the 1963/64 round when he achieved fourth place . The standard runner series of the Prussians represented Drewes, Klaus Bockisch and Werner Lungwitz .

Bundesliga, 1963/64

Preußen Münster started with a 1-1 home draw against Hamburger SV in the Bundesliga. Dagmar Drewes was the right runner on this premiere match day in the Prussian Stadium against the record champions from the north. Coach Richard Schneider's team scored the fewest goals in the round with 34 goals and was relegated from the Bundesliga at the end of the round one point behind Hertha BSC and Karlsruher SC . The offensive newcomers Bente , Kiß and Rummel had not been able to meet the expectations placed in them. Again the Prussian runner series acted with Drewes, Bockisch and Lungwitz. Only Lungwitz was missing from this trio in one game. Drewes is listed in the Bundesliga chronicle 1963/64 as the "most constant Prussian over the season".

Regionalliga West, 1964 to 1970

The man from Bochum stayed with Preußen Münster after relegation and tried to get promoted again together with his teammates. For six rounds in a row, the strong and enthusiastic midfielder tried in vain to return to the Bundesliga with Prussia. The sixth place in 1966 was the best placement. Dagmar Drewes played his last game in the Regionalliga West for Preußen Münster on September 14, 1969 at Schwarz-Weiß Essen and ended his career as a contract player in the summer of 1970. In total, Drewes had played 162 games with four goals in the Regionalliga.

In later years he was a coach in the amateur field, including at FC Epe (1981-1982).
