biography

Dagmar Kaselitz first learned the profession of zoo technician and then studied in Halle (Saale) with a degree as a biology teacher. She was then used in the school service in Penzlin from 1983 to 1990 . She then took on various activities at the city of Penzlin, especially in the field of culture.

politics

Dagmar Kaselitz joined the SPD in 2010. After the result of the state elections on September 4, 2011, she almost received a member of parliament through her party's state list. However, due to the votes cast in the by-election in the Rügen I constituency on September 18, 2011, this expectation was disappointed. It was not until January 29, 2014 that she moved into the state parliament as a replacement for Federal Minister Manuela Schwesig . In the state elections in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 2016, she missed the re-entry into the state parliament. From December 2016 to November 2019 she was the integration officer for the state government of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Her successor was Reem Alabali-Radovan . On November 28, 2019, she replaced Mathias Brodkorb in the state parliament.
