Daichi Akiyama ( Japanese 秋山 大地 , Akiyama Daichi ; born July 28, 1994 in Fujiidera , Osaka Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Daichi Akiyama learned to play football in the youth team of Cerezo Osaka . Here he also signed his first professional contract in 2013. The club from Osaka , a city in Osaka prefecture , played in the country's highest league, the J1 League . At the end of 2014 he was relegated to the second division with the club. From March 2015 to July 2015 he was loaned to the second division Ehime FC in Matsuyama . With the club, he completed 16 second division games. In 2015 he played twice in the J.League U-22 Selection . This team, which played in the third division, the J3 League , was made up of the best young players from the higher-class clubs. The team was founded with a view to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro . The players were selected on a weekly basis from a pool for which each club was able to name talented individuals worth promoting; the composition of the team therefore varied greatly from game to game. In 2016 he finished fourth with Osaka and rose again to the top division. In 2017 he won the J. League Cup and the Emperor's Cup with Osaka . In the final of the J. League Cup they won against Kawasaki Frontale 2-0, in the final of the Emperor's Cup they won 2-1 against Yokohama F. Marinos . He won the Supercup with Osaka 2018. In the game against the champions Kawasaki Frontale they won 3-2. Since 2019 he has also been used in the Osaka U23 team. The team played in the third division, the J3 League. From July 2019 to January 2020 he was loaned to the second division club Montedio Yamagata . After four second division games, he returned to Osaka in early 2020 after being loaned.
