Daidō (era)
Daidō ( Japanese 大同 ) is a Japanese era ( Nengō ) from June 806 to September 810 according to the Gregorian calendar . The previous era name is Enryaku , the following era is called Kōnin . The era falls during the reign of the emperors ( Tennō ) Heizei and Saga . The Heian period begins with this era .
The first day of the Daidō era corresponds to June 8, 806, the last day was October 19, 810. The Daidō era lasted four years or 1595 days.
