The Dais ( French for canopy , canopy of the throne ) is a 935 m high table mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises 4 km west of Lake Vanda in the Wright Valley . Around him the valley forks into North Fork and South Fork , where Don Juan Lake lies. The summit plateau is 5 km long and 1 km wide.
Scientists from a 1958-1959 campaign of New Zealand's Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions named him.
