The Dalğa Arena is a multifunctional stadium in Baku , Azerbaijan . It is mainly used for soccer games. It seats 6,500 and was opened by Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini on June 6, 2011.
The stadium was one of the venues for the 2012 U-17 Women's World Cup and also the 2016 U-17 European Football Championship .
The Dalğa Arena has already hosted two games of the Azerbaijani national soccer team against Macedonia in a friendly and against Austria during qualifying for the 2012 European Soccer Championship .
