Dalatangi is the outermost headland between Seyðisfjörður and Mjóifjörður on the east coast of Iceland . There are two lighthouses there . The older one was built in 1895 and is no longer in use. It was replaced by a higher one in 1908, which has also served as a weather station since 1938. The tower height is 10 m, the fire height 19 m.
The Mjóafjarðarvegur leads directly from the ring road with a distance of 47 kilometers to the headland.
