Dale Copley (born July 29, 1991 in Ingham , Queensland ) is an Australian rugby league player. He plays for the Sydney Roosters in the NRL .

Career

Copley initially played junior rugby for the Aspley Devils before the Brisbane Broncos signed him. From 2009 to 2011 he played for the Broncos in the National Youth Competition .

In 2009 he made his NRL debut in Round 15 against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks . In his third NRL game in Round 20 against the Gold Coast Titans , he put his first try. In total, he played four games in 2009, in which he put two attempts. In 2010 he played two NRL games in which he tried, but spent most of the season in NYC.

In 2011 he completed 17 NRL games in which he put eight attempts. In 2012, injured Jharal Yow Yeh , the outer three quarters of the Broncos in round four against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at the ankle and was replaced by the rest of the season Copley. Copley completed 15 games in which he put four attempts.

In 2013 he injured his patellar tendon in the first round against the Gold Coast Titans , causing him to be out the rest of the season.

In 2014 he participated with the Broncos in the NRL Auckland Nines . Already in the first NRL game in 2014 against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs , he tried. At the end of the season, he was the Broncos player with the most tries, with 16 tries in 25 games. In 2015 he only took part in 9 games in which he tried due to injuries.

On January 18, 2016, Copley signed a three-year contract with the Sydney Roosters .
