Daler Nazarow

Daler Nasarow (also Daler Nazarov ; Tajik / Russian Далер Назаров ; born September 8, 1959 in Stalinabad , Tajik SSR ) is a Tajik film composer, singer and actor.

Life

Nazarow was born in 1959 in the then Soviet Stalinabad (renamed Dushanbe two years later). His family belongs to the Pamiri minority . Nazarov spent most of his life in his hometown, but lived in Almaty , Kazakhstan, during the Tajik Civil War , which lasted from 1992 to 1997 . When the situation in his home country had calmed down, Nazarov returned.

In 1999 he composed the music for Achim von Borrie's feature film debut England together with Ingo Ludwig Frenzel ! In the same year he was also responsible for the film music for the German-Russian co-production Luna Papa . With the director of Luna Papa, his compatriot Bakhtijor Chudoinasarow , Nazarow also worked together in the following years. He composed the soundtrack for his 2003 film Life Again . Since then he has worked on numerous other films and has also released several solo albums as a singer. Nazarow combines elements of Tajik folk music and Tajik musical instruments with Western music. In Tajikistan he is one of the most famous musicians.

Private life

Daler Nazarow was married twice, the first time to Munawwara Nabijewa, the daughter of Rahmon Nabijew .
