Dalhousie is a small town ( town ) in Restigouche County in the Canadian province of New Brunswick .
It is located in the north of the province at the mouth of the Restigouche in the Chaleur Bay . The place has been called "Dalhousie" since 1826. Dalhousie has an area of 14.51 km². The population has been falling in recent years. In 2016 it was 2351.
