Dali (Weinan)

Dali (大荔 县; Pinyin : Dàlì Xiàn) is a district of the district-free city of Weinan in the Chinese province of Shaanxi . In 1999 it had 686,628 inhabitants.

The Tianshuigou site (甜 水沟 遗址, Tiánshuǐgōu yízhǐ ) of the Dali people (大荔 人, Dàlì rén ) from the late Middle Pleistocene , discovered in 1978 , the granary of Fengtu (丰 图 义 仓, Fēngtú yìcāng -temporal), and family tomb of Li Shi (李氏家族墓地, Lǐ Shì Jiazu Mudi ) are since 2001, 2006 and 2013 on the list of monuments of the people's Republic of China .
