Dalia Kutraitė-Giedraitienė

Dalia Kutraitė-Giedraitienė (born April 18, 1952 in Vasilyevsk, Bodaibo district , Irkutsk Oblast ) is a Lithuanian journalist , PR specialist and politician.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1970 at the Salomėja Nėris Middle School in Kaunas , she studied journalism at the Vilniaus universitetas in 1975 and worked in the youth department of Lietuvos radijas . From January 1997 she was director of the LRT (two months).

From 1975 to 1988 she was an editor at Lietuvos radijas ir televizija . From 1998 to 1999 she was advisor to the mayor of Vilnius Rolandas Paksas , in 1999 government chancellor , from 1999 to 2000 director of VšĮ “Rolando Pakso fondas”, from 2000 to 2003 member of Seimas , elected to Vilnius city council in 2003 . From 2005 director of “Strateginių komunikacijų centras”. She teaches at the Institute of Journalism at the Vilniaus universitetas .

From 1999 she was a member of Lietuvos liberalų sąjunga from 2000 deputy chairwoman, from 2001 a member of Liberalų Demokratieų partija .

Dalia Kutraitė-Giedraitienė is married.
