Dalia Kuznecovaitė

Dalia Kuznecovaitė (born October 11, 1988 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian violinist.

biography

Dalia Kuznecovaitė began playing the violin at the age of four and studied at the MK Čiurlionis National Art High School from 1995 to 2007 , where she graduated from high school. From 2004 to 2007 she also studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln with Zakhar Bron, from 2007 at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock with Petru Munteanu and from 2012 to 2015 at the Paris Conservatory with Boris Garltsky and Svetlin Roussev. There she completed her concert studies with distinction. Since winning important prizes in 2007/2008, she is a concert soloist in great demand in Lithuania as well as internationally and has performed with major orchestras a. a. in China, France, Mexico, Ukraine, the USA and Qatar.

During her tour of Germany in November 2014, she performed violin concertos by Tchaikovski and Sibelius together with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Kiev under Mykola Dyadiura . In October 2017 she gave concerts with the Liepaja Symphonic Orchestra under Atvars Lakstigala in Oberhausen and Witten with the violin concerto by Antonín Dvořák and in Emden with the violin concerto No. 2 by Sergei Prokofjew .

In addition to her active solo activities, she has been the first violinist in the Vilnius String Quartet since December 2015 .
