Dalle is a village in the unified municipality of Eschede in the district of Celle in Lower Saxony .

geography

Dalle is located in the Südheide Nature Park west of the federal highway 191 and around 8 km northeast of Eschede in the midst of extensive forests on the edge of a green brook valley. It is a tranquil village in the countryside away from the major traffic.

history

Dalle was first mentioned in a document in 1332. Until the 19th century, the place consisted of five farms, which were first mentioned in 1437 and were all owned by the duke. In addition, two brink seats were added shortly before the coupling.

A farm in Dalle appears in a looted register from 1377 ("Wolfert van dem Danlo"). Also around 1395, a ducal register mentions a Daller Hof, which was also desolate. It could be assumed that Dalle was at least partially deserted at the end of the 14th century and was resettled at the beginning of the 15th century. Desolation of courtyards also occurred in Dalle at a later date. In addition to the poor soil, the poor grazing opportunities can be listed as reasons. After the coupling, all but one of the farms were sold to the state.

Around the middle of the 19th century, the teacher and thirteen housekeepers, including four shepherds, lived in Dalle in addition to the five full farms with their families and the two Brinkitzers . At the end of the 19th century, the forest administration converted the Niemann house in Dalle into apartments for forest workers. It fell victim to a fire during World War II .

On July 1, 1973 Dalle was incorporated into Eschede.
