Dame Tu Cosita ( Spanish for Give me your little thing ) is a reggaeton - song of the Panamanian musician El Chombo , he along with the Jamaican dancehall musician Cutty Ranks has produced. It was originally recorded in 1997 , but renewed and released as a single in 2018 . A remix with Pitbull and Karol G was released on August 29, 2018. It was produced by Afro Bros.

Music video

The music video shows a computer animation of an alien dancing to the complete remix of Dame Tu Cosita . The music video was produced by Sihem OUILLANI and Animated by Artnoux. As of September 28, 2018, the video has received over 800 million views on YouTube .

history

The song was first released in the album Cuentos De La Cripta 2 in 1997, where a short version of the song was released under the name Introducion B (El Cosita Remix) . Chombo recorded an extended version of the song with the French music label Juston Records in 2018 .

Network culture

On October 16, 2017, a Dailymotion user uploaded an animation of a green alien dance for a remix of “Introducion B” under the video name “Popoy - Dame Tu Cosita”. This video was a remake of an older version. The video was then uploaded to YouTube sometime in February 2018 and became an internet phenomenon.

On various apps like Musical.ly / TikTok and in web videos , a large number of people tried to imitate the movements of the alien. As a result, many tried to dance to the song and the Musical.ly app became better known.
