Damian Läge

Damian Läge (born June 29, 1961 in Osnabrück ) is a German psychologist and philosopher ; he researches and teaches as a professor at the University of Zurich .

education and profession

After graduating from high school Carolinum in Osnabrück, Läge studied philosophy at the Munich School of Philosophy from 1981 and psychology at Munich from 1982 . He completed his studies in philosophy in 1986 as a master's degree, and in 1989 in psychology with a diploma . The Hanns Seidel Foundation supported Läge's training with a scholarship .

In 1993 received his doctorate at Läge Wolfgang Marx with a work for playback of subjective perception policy related to Dr. phil. In 1994 he joined Wolfgang Marx as senior assistant at the University of Zurich; There he completed his habilitation in 2001 with the thesis "Similarity-based diagnostics of subject knowledge" in the subject of psychology. This was followed by six and a half years as an assistant professor at the University of Zurich as head of a research group for applied cognitive psychology. Läge has continued his work as adjunct professor since 2009 .
