Damijan Močnik
Damijan Močnik (born November 30, 1967 in Kranj ) is a Slovenian composer , choir conductor and teacher . He studied composition at the Ljubljana Music Academy . He wrote many choral works. His church music works include Verbum supernum prodiens and Christ est natus . In 1995 his Tisoč let je že minilo (“A thousand years have already passed”) won the competition for the hymn on Pope John Paul II's first visit to Slovenia .
