Ljubljana Music Academy
The Ljubljana Music Academy (also: Ljubljana Music Academy; Slovenian: Akademija za glasbo v Ljubljani ) is, together with the Ljubljana Art Academy and the Academy for Theater, Radio, Film and Television, one of three art schools in Ljubljana and today part of the University of Ljubljana .
The Ljubljana Music Academy is the only music academy in Slovenia and it is the training center for the majority of all Slovenian composers , conductors and music teachers ; But there are also many foreign students studying at the music academy.
The Ljubljana Music Academy was founded in 1939 and emerged from the Ljubljana Music Conservatory. The first rector of the academy was Julij Betetto .
