Daniel Thomas "Dan" Gronkowski (* 21st January 1985 in Amherst , New York ) is a former American American football poker players on the position of tight ends .
Career
He played college football for the University of Maryland . In 2009 he was drafted in the NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions in the seventh round.
He played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Detroit Lions, Denver Broncos and New England Patriots before retiring from the Cleveland Browns in 2013.
Personal
He is the brother of Chris Gronkowski , Rob Gronkowski , with whom he played with the New England Patriots in 2011, and Glenn Gronkowski , who are also NFL players. Gronkowski's ancestor is the American cyclist and Olympian Ignatius Gronkowski .
