Daniel Owen "Dan" Simoneau (born January 9, 1959 in Farmington, Maine ) is a retired American cross-country skier . He reached 18th place over 15 km classic and eighth place with the relay at the Olympic Winter Games in Sarajevo in 1984 . His best placings at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary were 29th place over 15 km and 13th place with the relay. In the 1981/82 season he was seventh in the overall World Cup. He had his best World Cup result in March 1982 in Falun with second place over 30 km.
