Life
Davis, who works on sound design and sound effects in addition to sound editing in the field of sound engineering , began his career in the early 1980s with short films and documentaries . His feature film debut was the horror film Das Tier II . As a result, he was involved in many science fiction and horror films. Between 1997 and 2010 he was nominated eleven times for the Golden Reel Award , of which he won the award four times.
Davis was involved in all three parts of the Wachowskis' Matrix trilogy . For the first part, Matrix , he was in 2000 with the Oscar in the category sound editor Best excellent. He also received the BAFTA Film Award in the Best Sound category for Matrix .
