Dani Bondarv (born February 7, 1987 in Moscow , Soviet Union as Дмитрий Бондарев , Dmitri Bondarew ) is an Israeli football player with Russian roots. He has been under contract with the Russian first division club Volga Nizhny Novgorod since 2011 .

Career

Hapoel Tel Aviv (2004-2011)

Bondarv, who lived in the Soviet Union for three years and emigrated to Israel in 1990 , began his career with Hakoach Afek. In 1999 he moved to Hapoel Tel Aviv . He played in the youth team for five years until he was brought to the first team in 2004.

In his first season he was eighth with the club. In the following season they could be runner-up and in the cup final Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv was defeated 1-0. 2006/07 they were again cup winners and at the end of the championship they could reach fourth place. After seventh place in 2007/08 and reaching the cup final, Bondarv moved to Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona in the 2008/09 winter transition period. There he played ten games before returning to Tel Aviv that summer .

Volga Nizhny Novgorod (since 2011)

In July 2011 Bondarv moved to Volga Nizhny Novgorod in Russia.

Israel national team (since 2010)

Bondarv took part in the U-21 European Football Championship 2007 in the Netherlands . He completed one game (in the group against Portugal ), where he came on for Idan Srur in the 56th minute and received a yellow card. The Israelis were the last in the group to be eliminated from the group stage. He made his debut for the Israeli national team on September 2, 2010 in a 3-1 home win over Malta.
