life and work

Daniel Allertseder was born in August 1998 and grew up in Bad Birnbach , where he lives. Already at a young age he dealt with books as a cultural asset and developed his later work from this, which he primarily pursues as a bookseller . In 2015 his first novel was published, PAOL - The Mystery of the Popess, which was published by the Berlin publishing house epubli and has since been sold in several new editions. His debut novel was praised in the press as "outstanding" and Allertseder himself as "Dan Brown des Rottals". In the same year, together with Larena Hartmann, he started the literature platform WeLoveBooks, which rapidly established itself as a professional literature medium and thus promoted the reputation of the Bad Birnbach author. In addition to other novels that he has published, he was a speaker at the Leipzig Book Fair in 2018 and 2019, for which he gave lectures to a specialist audience on the Sundays of both years. In 2018 he was nominated for the newly initiated Rottal-Inn cultural promotion award.

The author has already conducted interviews and discussions with well-known personalities such as Sebastian Fitzek , Andreas Gruber , Tess Gerritsen and Dana Newman.

At the end of 2018, after many months of pause as a writer, his latest novella , The Heart in Hand, a story about a woman who confides in the wrong man and who has lost everything in the end, was published. This story is based on real events, according to Daniel himself. As in an interview with the Lower Bavarian magazine Rottaler Gsichter, he revealed that this was a dramatized novella of terrible events, at which he and his family had to stand idly by. The heart in the hand was praised by the press and readers, and according to the author's indications, a play is being planned.

On November 22nd, 2019 the first edition of his series "Literature in the Rottal" took place in Bad Birnbach. The Bad Griesbach author Inge Hirschmann and the Bad Birnbach music duo "Klachello" were there. The series of events is to take place at irregular intervals.
