Daniel Chamier (* 1565 at Le Mont Castle near Mocas in the Dauphiné ; † October 17, 1621 in Montauban ) was a Reformed theologian from France .

Chamier was the son of a Huguenot pastor. He studied at the Geneva Academy and took over the pastoral office of his father in Montélimar around 1595 . From 1596 he was a member of the reformed national synods and participated in denominational negotiations, including the drafting of the Edict of Nantes . In 1603 he was President of the Gap National Synod.

From 1612 he was a professor at the Theological Academy in Montauban and fell on the ramparts during the siege of this city in 1621.
