Daniel Christoph Dietrich
Daniel Christoph Dietrich (* 1691 or 1692 ; † January 27, 1772 in Vienna ) was an Austrian master builder of the Baroque .
Dietrich was a city mason and a civil builder in Vienna. His buildings erected in the city include the Churhaus on Stephansplatz (1738–1740), which was planned together with Johann Gottfried Pock , the auditorium of the Old University (1755) and the rental house at Annagasse 5 (1768) for the Klein-Mariazell Abbey . In Lower Austria he created the pilgrimage church on Hafnerberg (1729–1735). He also planned the only baroque palace in South Tyrol, Wolfsthurn Palace in Mareit (1727). All of these buildings are now listed .
