Daniel Cousin (born February 7, 1977 in Libreville ) is a Gabonese football player , he plays in the position of the striker .

Cousin came to FC Martigues in the French Ligue 2 for the 1997/98 season . After only one season, he moved to league rivals Chamois Niortais . For the 2000/01 season, the Gabonese was signed by Le Mans UC 72 . In his third season at Le Mans , he rose with the club in Ligue 1 .

At the end of the 2003/04 season Le Mans relegated to Ligue 2, whereupon Daniel Cousin moved to RC Lens for the 2004/05 season, where he has since been in the regular squad and was able to score 12 goals for the club in a total of 70 games. In August 2007, Cousin moved to the Glasgow Rangers . The Scots paid around £ 2.2 million transfer fee for him.

For the 2008/09 season he moved to Hull City , where he has a contract until 2011. On February 1, 2010 he was awarded to AE Larisa in Greece , who also have a purchase option on him. Cousin left Europe on October 23, 2011 and moved to Gabon for FC Sapins . In February 2012, he left Sapins and returned to the Glasgow Rangers . After the Rangers' relegation in the summer of 2012, he left the club and returned to Sapins.
