Daniel Dunst (born April 12, 1984 in Baden ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Dunst began his career in the youth of VfB Admira Wacker Mödling . In 2004 he joined the first team of the former Bundesliga club . In the same year he made his debut in the top Austrian division and scored his first goal. In the next year (the relegation season of the Südstädter) Dunst came on six missions. In 2006 he moved to the Regionalliga Ost for Vienna . After a year with the oldest football club in Austria, the defender went to Vorarlberg for SC Austria Lustenau in the first division . In summer 2008 Daniel Dunst was signed by the newly founded SC Magna Wiener Neustadt. Although he developed into a regular player there, he turned down a contract extension in the summer of 2010.

He was then without a club for over six months before signing a contract with the Swiss Axpo Super League Team FC St. Gallen on January 15, 2011 until the end of the season . After only eleven games, he returned to Austria and played one and a half seasons at SC Austria Lustenau in the second-highest division. Since 2013 Dunst has been under contract with Bundesliga club Wolfsberger AC .

On January 17th, Dunst's contract, originally dated until 2015, was terminated by mutual agreement.
